Raw Benchmarks do not matter. They are never applicable for real life studies. Cs4 was the most resource hungry application that uses dual processors at that time. Vista outplaced it. Vista had better Raw Benchmarks than xp did. Did you know that? or that XP before any service parks had one of the worst benchmarks ever?
Windows 7 will not get faster in the final release it will get slower. They are going to unrestrict some of the programs they have turned off, and turn on all the programs they have turned off. Vista is faster get over it.
