Hey Madden Forum,

Xanadu Games is a gaming shop located in Baltimore MD and currently we run various Video Game tournaments on a weekly basis ( Street Fighter 4, Tekken 6, Smash Brothers, Halo Etc ) and people have been asking us to run a Madden Tournament.

The problem is I have no idea what the standard rules of the madden tournament is and how popular they are. After coming by this forum is seems that they're very popular.

If I want to run a Madden tournament how many Xbox/Ps3 is standard and what rules do I need to be aware of? I'm aware that 5 min quarters is standard but I've read some stuff like QB has to stay in the pocket for 1 second, no fake punts etc.

Any help or advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you're in the Baltimore/DC area and you'd be interested in playing in a tournament let me know. We've got a lot of cool equipment we currently use for our other video game tournaments, live stream, HD camera's, commentary, etc. ( Standard Video Game Hype YouTube - XanaduGames's Channel )
