New Engine

I think Madden should pick up on the Euphoria Engine.

Basically What we have now (in madden) are Scripted Animations leading to Exploits such as Rc, and Overeffective Routes.

The Euphoria Engine is Much different. Each Animation Is created Differently Based on Height, Weight, Momentum(Meaning if we have a Lets Say Adrian Peterson just starting to gain Acceleration, and a Patrick Willis Sprinting towards him at his Full Speed, And they Collide. Adrian will be Knocked Back.) And In Maddens Case Attributes. No In terms of the Euphoria Engine in Receiving, Arm Span And ability of hands.

IMO initial blocking animation should be somewhat scripted, but Impact blocking should not.

The passing animations should be based on Pressure(Like if a Lets Say Julius Peterson is closing in on a Peyton Manning, In order to throw he would have to Lob it Higher, Position his arm to throw around Julias, or Lean Further back and pass it off his backfoot.) Attributes, Individual Throwing Styles.

Here is a video of the Euphoria Engine in the "Blitz Style" Game BackBreaker. Of course it would have to be teaked some to make it more Realistic. Discard Graphics Engine has nothing to do with it.

Re: New Engine

i don't. EA will make a half-assed effort and it won't work right until 3 years from the first madden that its released on.

EAFL Record: 152-75 (including 10-7 playoff)
15 seasons, 2 SB Rings, 9 playoff appearances.
EAFL-PS3 Season 16 - Philadelphia Eagles - 7-6
TEAM GRYFFINDOR
first person globally to platinum in Madden 2010 - omg im so special!!!!!!!!!
