My MC Finals Recap (Miami)

First off I would like to thank everyone for all the support over the weekend, whether it was through texting, myspace, facebook, twitter, everything! thanks a lot! I really appreciated it....

Heres a quick recap of my games...

Round 1 (Los): Started off strong, jumped out to a 14-0 lead. He came back with a nice drive to make it a 7 point game, then followed it up by a stop. He tied the game up at 14 with about 30 seconds left until halftime. I was just trying to run the clock out, next thing you know Felix jones is breaking a 70-yard run for a TD to give me a 7 pt lead going into half. His first drive of the 2nd half was a long one, but he managed to get a TD to tie the game going into the 4th qtr. I get the ball, start clocking and moving the ball little by little. I run into a 4th and inches on my own 40 or so. He blew up my FB dive a couple plays earlier, so I decided to pass, only to make a bad read and turn the ball over. With 2:30 left on the clock, I knew all he needed to do was get a 1st down and this game was pretty much a wrap. He ran the ball on 1st down (loss of 1 yard). Double blue routes on 2nd down (gain of 6 yards). Third down I run a crazy D, where I spyed my LCB and I ended up hitting the QB and the spy picked it off. My ball with 2 mins left. RC down the field, run, run, run, clock, game over.

Final Four (Dynasty): First drive, he goes down and I hold him to kick 3. I pick FG block return because it was a 60 yard kick and if he messed up I would have a chance to return it. My guy slips through and blocks the FG, my ball. I drive down and kick 3, so I'm up 3-0. I lock him on his next drive. Go down the field while working the clock and get 7 with 15 seconds left before half (10-0). I get the ball at half, clock a little bit but end up having to punt. He gets the ball goes down and kicks 3. I get the ball in the 4th and clock the rest of the game. Game over.

Finals (Jet): I get ball first and I'm completely locked lol... 3 and out. He gets the ball and goes down and gets 3 (3-0 Jet). I get the ball, go down the field and tie the game up. I lock him up and force him to punt on his next drive. Another drive that only ends up with 3 points on the board (6-3 me). He runs off tackle a couple times, then CJ fumbles. I recover, run the ball 3 straight times and get 3. We go to the half (9-3 me). He gets ball first in the 2nd half and throws a INT on his 2nd play. I finally score a TD, but I miss the 2pt Conv, so the score is 15-3. I get another stop and score to make it 22-3 going into the 4th qtr. He scores in the 4th to make it 22-11, then I recover the onside and clock the rest away.

Money games, I played 2 games vs ken. Both were close, but I managed to pull them out. Ken is a great player and definitely showed me that he is one of the best, props to him.

***We (Me and Jet) came there to do one thing and that's exactly what we did. Our goal was to meet in the championship, and from there we said the best man will win. I couldn't have been any happier when I saw that it would be me and him in the ship. We have been 1 and 2 all year long which is an accomplishment in itself.

Last but not least, I'd like to thank everyone that I practice with (Jet, show, secret, shoe, brusk, skiimaskway, skillz, jukes, toin, and everyone else that I play with) because without you guys my game wouldn't have been where it was during the finals. And I would also like to thank all of my family especially my Mother, Sister and my Brother for ALL of the support! Thanks!
