46 2 man under, spread line, crash line out, reblitz the two dts, user fs. Now, if its on all-pro, just look at where you think the rb is going and run towards the ball carrier, when you are headed in the general direction, then hold the defensive assist (a) button, so the cpu will make the tackle for you.

Re: stopping the run without the good stick skills
43normal cover2,3-Shift D-line to heavy side of formation crash opposite side and reblitz DE on weak side.Play Mlb and take away inside cutback & your guys will do a good job of containg the outside if your a decent speed D.It doesn't shut it down but will slow up and get you a fumble or 2.

5-2 cover 3. just have the de that's blitzing on the strong side. can also show blitz. good play to try to make tackles with user controlled player and not have to worry about getting burned if you make a mistake

Re: stopping the run without the good stick skills
Definitely do NOT run gibs C2 invert...it's just not that good IMO...you'll have better success just shooting gaps and blowing it up yourself...easiest one I know of is just 5-2 spread the D-Line and shoot the multiple gaps that are created by the double teams.

Re: stopping the run without the good stick skills
either you have the skills of a 8 year old. or just slow... do what colts said.. what i usually do is 46 normal outside rush.. i crash my line out and/or shift my line out.. put FS in a spy and blow up the middle or the outside.. hold A if you need to

Re: stopping the run without the good stick skills
Stopping the run is annoying if guy is good and persists with it. Much rather play someone who passes all game than runs it. I like the 52 spread like kojack said!

Re: stopping the run without the good stick skills
yea its getting a little silly, reminds me of off tackle 2 yrs ago, whats crazy is the majority of the time the people who run the ball well really struggle to pass and handle blitz but i guess thats why they chose to focus on running
