Dazzle...

a few questions...

first of all, would I be able to record my xbox 360 gameplay if I have my xbox hooked up to a flat screen computer monitor?

second, would this dazzle record in good quality??

finally, if anybody has any other options that are helpful and preferably inexpensive let me know...

umm if uve seen my montages thats the quality you will get but you will need to get a different software, i dl'd pinnacle studio 14 ultimate to make it look like that, the software that comes with it is complete garbage. and second yea, you might be able to if your monitor has some component cables. im currently working on getting a blackmagic intensity pro.

Mine looks like ****...Bears do you know why it would look better? That doesn't make sense to me...and yours looks great...does it look that good on your tv though? On my tv I can't see crap..playing on an HDTV though.

But the colors are so watered down and it is too bright it seems like..I'd guess that'd make it look good if I could fix that. And do you use S Video?

Looks better than mine....and tact knife+commando=annoying as fck.

And mine is the DVC170 or something...right now I am fixing up a vid that will hopefully be up tomorrow...I am hoping it'll actually look good. If not, going to have to look for good settings or something..

i have the one ur getting flight dvc 100. and im telling you man, it depends on the recording program you are using, try and find a free download of pinnacle studio 12 or 14(you can try youtube) and the program will make it look like a million times better. and sony vegas itself makes it look alot better when its rendered. youtube the best dazzle settings for sony vegas. makes it look like mine. but ART your will look waaayyy better than mine when you do that cuz your automatically records with better quality. AND no i do not use s video, i use composite

idk it just does i noticed it through experiance, thats how i got my videos and clips to look presentable lol. u shouldve seen em before..it was BAD. look on my youtube channel and look at the trailer one compared to the actual montages.

Because it's the software that's rendering the stream not the hardware. Hardware makes a diff obviously, and all of the Dazzles are mediocre at best, but you can get decent video if it's encoded properly. Dude is absolutely right about Pinnacle 14 which is what I would recommend.

Ah, someone of course told me that wasn't true at all and I stopped getting it...

Oh well..time to start again. But I have found better settings at least so it should look really good once I get 14...although it is too dark.

why does it take so long to load the video??? i have roadrunner and it never takes that long to load a youtube video... lol

Doesn't take long to load for me...and I quit because of random pro pipe and after my chopper gunner they were camping so hard, which is why I switched to my sniper.

alright ive been checking out youtube videos on how to get the best quality and all of them have shown you need 3 av splitters aka Y cables (1 male to 2 female) and a double ended composite cable...

the dazzle video creator plus from best buy doesnt include those cables??

and also if i buy the av splitters for around 2 bucks each from walmart will that affect the quality of the video i will be recording? or it shouldnt matter?

alright i got the regular dazzle that was for 50 bucks...

problem is i need the a/v splitters and composite cable...

another problem is that I use a computer screen... all the youtube videos i have checked out have from dazzle to the xbox 360 to tv...

i dont see any tutorials on how to connect a dazzle to the xbox 360 to a computer screen

i need help
