Connecting to my opponent in the team select screen - Madden 11 tips, Madden Tips, Madden 11, NCAA 11 tips, & more.

I haven't played Madden 09 since March when I accidently left it in Florida, but since this new madden is coming out I need help with something. Every year since I've had my ps3 I have had problems connecting with opponents at the team select screen whether its in the lobby or in the quick match. I can see my team but on the other side all I can see is the name of the person's profile but I can't see their team or pick mine. Does this happen to anyone and else? Does anyone know how to fix this?

i think its because you our your opponent is on a wireless connection and the connection is firewalled.

i could be 100% wrong though lol

Yea i have a wireless connection and the same thing happens to me

I have wireless internet and I can connect to anyone. It's not that & I'm behind a plethora of firewalls. It's just you have to port-forward.

i have a firewall and have had no problems, i doubt that is the reason.
