Heavy Rain Getting Great Early Reviews
93 so far on metacritic...including the Game Informer review. Pretty impressive for something that is so original and risky.

Re: Heavy Rain Getting Great Early Reviews
Ive never played Indigo Prophecy but I have read those comparisons too. The base idea is kind of the same but the presentation, story, writing, acting, and hopefully gameplay in HR will blow that away. It might be the game that really starts to bridge the gap between movies/games.

Re: Heavy Rain Getting Great Early Reviews
If you havent played Indigo Prophecy, you should. That game was amazing. Truly one of a kind. Being that Shenmue is my favorite game of all time, I take to games like this. Heavy Rain is going to be awesome.

Re: Heavy Rain Getting Great Early Reviews
The demo was awesome. You should pick this up. Honestly, Madden is going to get less play time for me. I've gotta get Heavy Rain but first I'm going to beat Yakuza 2 cause I'm getting part 3 when it comes out.

Re: Heavy Rain Getting Great Early Reviews
This is supposed to be 10 hours long according to the dev...it's so ridiculous how games are 60 bucks when they are only providing 10 hours...that's 6 bucks for each hour...although I guess then it is around movie ticket price for an hour and fifteen minute movie. Although I have heard it has a lot of replayability at least.

Re: Heavy Rain Getting Great Early Reviews
I will be renting..I almost always rent SP games at this point because they are so short, so far the only one worth my money for SP has been Mass Effect 2...

Re: Heavy Rain Getting Great Early Reviews
Someone needs to explain the Mass Effect thing to me. All my homies play it, the game is hella popular, but to me it's like taking an Ambien. Booooring. I'm def in the minority on that one. But I'm def looking forward to Heavy Rain. Looks interesting.

Re: Heavy Rain Getting Great Early Reviews
If the rumored ps3 version of Mass Effect comes out with 1 and 2 packaged together I will have it the day it comes out. Only 360 exclusive that I give a sht about.

But the game was great. I can honestly say I didnt see the origami killer coming. I wont spoil it to those who dont know, but it's definitely worth playing for a great and different cinematic experience. I dont know if many of you will know what I'm talking about. But it felt like a 3D version of Hideo Kojima's classic masterpieces Snatcher and Policenauts. I can definitely tell it borrowed elements from that game and specifically Shenmue.
