Why would anyone say lol at playing on the PC...I would play on the PC if I had friends who played the PC...and I could use a controller. Games are **** now anyways. The only good release of 2010 was BFBC2 and MLB the Show

From 2009 to now I have bought...Madden...Mass Effect 2...Modern Warfare 2...Gears of War 2...Battlefield Bad Company 2...NBA 2k10...GTA 4 I think was 2009...that is 70 bucks right there...luckily I also save by renting SP games...and I rented AC2...B:AA...NHL 10...some Spiderman game...so that could have been another 40 bucks.

Did you mention the price of your computer setup? LoL @ you paying thousands of dollars for computer hardware and trying to boast about a ten dollar savings per game. Console gaming is more popular due to the lower cost of hardware. A brand new PS3 is $299.99 - did I mention that lol.

You can make a good rig for 500 bucks, I know that for a fact...

I doubt you just got yours, so it was probably 400-500.

PCs always destroyed consoles tech wise until this generation. I know it is technically better than ps3/360 but there is nothing being done right now with any tech that is groundbreaking or makes console games look bad. Its just not technically possible right now. Those screen shots are pretty but ps3/360 are pretty close to that. I played Crysis on my boss' PC when it came out and there was really nothing about it that made it seem impossible to make on consoles(like it was declared). I know its technically better though....higher res and more consistant framerates Im sure....but consoles and PC are pretty much still the same ballpark tech wise.

The next step will be games that look like movies such as Beowulf, A Christmas Carol...the realistic looking CGI movies. Show me games that look THAT good and than is something new. Right now I dont see why anyone would choose a PC over a console. I would have to have alot of extra money to use a pc gaming and even then I would still have a console.

I wouldn't call White Night Chronicles one of the best ps3 releases this year. That game kind of sucked.

PC does have some good exclusive stuff still but not like it used to. Only thing left really that PC has over consoles are all the good RTS games. Valve puts out all of their stuff for 360..and its rumored that they are finally going to stop being douches about the ps3 too.

PC game developers are starting to go to CRAZY lengths to stop piracy too. Have you guys heard what happens with Assassins Creed II on PC? You have to register on these online servers with a new copy of the game to play. If for some reason you get d/c from the servers you can't play the game. Im talking the single player game lol. I understand their frustration but that is NUTS.

lol that drm got cracked within 1 day of release. some day they will finally understand that drm is a BAD thing.

also, valve half-asses everything on the 360. take team fortress 2 for example. on the pc, it has received over 100 patches, including 10 big updates(with at least 1 more to come) that released new weapons, official maps,ect. how much of that has the 360 received? none.

and yes this is the year of the ps3...wii sales are down 3rd party deveolopers like ubisoft/activision/ea are sick and tired of losing money making games for wii when they arent moving off the shelves...everyone who knows about the 2 systems (xbox ps3) knows ps3 is far superior technology wise...unless you wanna be a huge fanboy and continue to suck gaybox co(k until its finally dead in the water...xbox just doesnt have the technology to be able to play graphics like ps3 ( ie uncharted 2) i can almost guarantee ps3 will start having a premium online service so xbox fanboys can forgot arguing "our online is way better wahhhh" when in reality its really nothing to split hairs over...and also both xbox and ps3 are coming out with motion devices just like wii so theres no reason in the world to buy a wii unless you have like 2 children under 10

wow....i don't think i have ever seen a more close minded post in my life. every platform has it's pros and cons, and while the ps3 might be the best choice for you, it may not be for others. for me, there is little to no reason to invest in a ps3.

-blu ray player? nope, id just buy a blu ray drive for ~$100-200
-games? eh, besides little big planet and heavy rain...there really isn't any exclusives i would want

however, if you wanted a blu ray player and you were really into games like: mgs4, gta4, killzone2, ect. then the ps3 would be the perfect platform for you.
